Westport Fire & Police Substation Open - Monday, February 25, 2008
On Friday February 22, 2008 the Town of Leland held the dedication service for the New Fire & Police Substation. The process that started back in 2006 was finally realized on this day when the Hose was uncoupled at the new station. This was a very important step in moving forward with fire and police protection for the area. This area of Leland is one of the fastest growing in Brunswick County. We are very happy this station is open and are looking forward to better serving the citizens in that area. Please stop by and visit
